Professor Bebida

Lloyd Camposagrado a.k.a Professor Bebida received his first exposure to capoeira when he was in New York attending college where he spent his free time training in Tae Kwon Do, dabbling in Filipino Eskrima and watching videos of Lateef Crowder and the rest of the Zero Gravity stunt team and geeking out to their Hong Kong style fight choreography. While home from college in the summer of 2003, Lloyd was able to find capoeira classes through then Professor Galego and Capoeira Água de Beber in Sacramento, CA. He was able to train for a few weeks before going back to school for his final year. After college and a move down to Southern California, Lloyd accidentally bumped into Professor (now Mestre) Parafina while briefly exploring other martial arts. He formally started training with Parafina and Capoeira Los Angeles where he would spend the next few years and receive his first cordão and apelido before moving back home to Sacramento in 2007 and rejoining Mestre Galego and Água de Beber for the next ten years. In 2017, Instrutor Bebida followed his professional career to Washington and settled in Maple Valley with his wife. Two years later, in 2019 they would have the dual blessings of their first child as well as Instrutor Bebida graduating to Formado and receiving the title of Professor as he continued to teach and train locally. In all, Professor Bebida has been practicing capoeira since 2003 and has been instructing since 2015.
